Night Bike Route

Night Bike Route

The Night Bike Route is an activity organized by the Mérida City Council and is completely free for all ages. The route of the night bike ride goes from Santa Ana Park to the Monument to the Fatherland. It takes place on the first Saturday of the month from 6 to 10 pm. One lane of Paseo de Montejo is closed to transform it into a two-way bike path for bicycles.

If you have a bicycle, you can bring it and enjoy this fantastic and fun activity; if not, you can rent one to join in. The bicycle rental starts at $50 pesos per hour, and you will find a great variety of bicycles, including regular, double, quadruple, and even ones for up to 7 people. We suggest arriving early so you can choose the bicycle you like best.

During the route, you will find hydration stations, restaurants, cafes, galleries, bazaars, and cultural activities, as well as iconic buildings and the most important roundabouts of Mérida, Yucatán. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and shoes to fully enjoy the ride.

This monthly event has become an active and healthy family activity in Mérida, promoting the use of bicycles as a sustainable means of transportation. The Night Bike Route is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the city in a different way and share special moments with family or friends.
