This project takes place twice a year in public spaces, using the streets and parks of the historic center as stages to showcase our culture, gastronomy, traditions, and more. In this way, it is presented to the entire community and visitors. The public space is fully enjoyed, as all events are completely free and have extended hours, lasting throughout the night. The 18th edition will be held on November 29 and 30.
This event revitalizes the historic center, highlights its strengths, encourages the playful and peaceful use of public spaces, and shares with visitors a way of living in peace. The Mérida White Night was designed by combining international experiences with local conditions and with the participation of various social and cultural actors, as well as new ventures.
For this 18th edition, there will be 241 activities with the participation of 585 artists, who will be present at venues such as the Santa Lucía Park, Santiago, San Juan, La Ermita, the Palace of Music, the Museum of Light, and the Museum of Railroads, among others. Some of the most representative events on November 29 include the Panucho Fair at La Ermita, the Nighttime Bicycle Route at the Monument to the Flag, a tour of the art galleries in the Historic Center, and a concert by Valeria Jasso at the Monument to the Flag. On November 30, the program includes a concert by Los Liberarios at the San Juan Park and a concert by Jenny and the Mexicats at the Plaza Grande.
Immerse yourself in a cultural experience. Let’s live art and culture on November 29th and 30th, 2024. You can check the full program, schedules, and locations of each event at this link. https://www.merida.gob.mx/nocheblanca/
