What documentation is required to rent a property?

 

TENANT

• ID of the person who will lease the property (voter card or passport).
• Proof of previous residence or proof of where the leaser is currently employed.
• Commercial references (credit card, bank or departmental stores statements)
• Guarantee co-signer with property in the city (with rights of ownership free of charges or domain limitations.).
• ID of the co-signer.
• Deposit equivalent to one month´s rent.
• One month rent in advance.
• Leaser will pay for contract costs.
• In the event that the property has a phone line, an extra deposit is considered for this service

LANDLORD

• Deed of property.
• Proof of last payment on property tax.
• Last receipts property services. (electricity, water, phone, cable, etc.).
• Property owner ID (voter, card or passport).
